The Challenge
Coordinating 500+ staff across multiple civil estimation projects is a serious operational challenge. Amigos Engineering needed one secure system where every quotation request could be tracked from the moment a client submits it, through assignment, engineering work, and QA, to final submission. Without clear role-based access and a defined workflow, running that many people across concurrent projects risks delays, miscommunication, and lost accountability. The goal was a centralized portal that gives every role — from admin to engineer — exactly the tools and visibility they need, while keeping clients informed at every stage.
What We Built
We built a role-based ERP portal with four user roles: admin, manager, team lead, and engineer. The complete workflow runs inside the portal:
- Client dashboard with quotation requests: Clients log in to their own dashboard, where they can request a quotation for their project.
- Manager assignment workflow: Managers accept the incoming request and assign it to team leads and engineers.
- Engineer work updates on the portal: Engineers carry out the work and update it directly on the portal as it progresses.
